She’s only an “O” away from an EGOT. And though she may be most famous for her ’80s pop persona and huge hit songs (“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “True Colors”) — or more recently, from her psoriasis commercial — Cyndi Lauper has put her four-octave vocal range and amazing composing skills to good use in just about every genre out there, from blues and Broadway to country and jazz. In fact, Grammy-winning jazz songstress Cécile McLorin Salvant is set to open for her at this blockbuster concert at the Bowl.
